That recall is for the steel lines at the top of the frame. I had part of the recall done and they replaced the steel line that goes from the ABS module to the frame bracket, not the rubber line. They also install a nut to hold the plastic inner liner up off the frame/brake line.

This appears to be a redesign for the 2011 model year.

Default Brake lines

Same lift here, went w/extended lines from Coast through Dave at Northridge. I left the plate in place & just removed the old lines from them, got some band clamps, & used the plate as an anchor for the clamps to secure the abs wires & hoses there. Plenty of room & theyre secured away from the coils.

Worked up a fairly easy fix for my front lines yesterday. Took the factory brackets and cut them in half and drilled a hole for a zip tie to anchor the lines to them. So they looked like this...

Then a piece of steel from home depot cut about 3" long and drilled 2 holes in it to make a bracket extension. Painted the extension black and bolted to the outside of the factory location, mounted the factory bracket to it, and then zip tied (white) the line to the factory bracket. I also wrapped the factory lines in some loom so they wouldn't have issues in case they chafed on the bracket.

Finished it looks like this and gives me more than enough slack for the 2.5" lift...

I am sure the master fabricators on this forum can make something even better, but for my $10 invested this will work for me.
