I haven't done my mods yet and have 5000 miles on my 2009. I was wondering if I should wait for the 2011 and trade in and then do mods. Or keep 09 and do mods and eventually go to a hemi (probably).

what do you think?

 

i would go with the hemi if you can do it, i heard the 2011 is going to be that much different in fact i heard the only major difference is are going to be the auto will have a 5 speed trans, the interior will be a little more spacier and it will have either the 3.6 litter penstar i think its call that i could be wrong on the name, or they might with with the 3.8 again and do the 3.6 on the 2012 model, but i mean if you have the money to get a hemi defiantly go that way or maybe even go with the srt-8 engine so you can get the 6 speed thats the way i would go. but i really dont think there is going to be any huge differences between then 2011 and 2010-2007 models there is a post under jk talk that goes over every thing i only read the gist of it but thats where i got my information, oh and they might be design a truck basted jk, so a jeep jk truck and i would totally get that if i could

if i were you i would keep the 09 and mod that.. and if you can drop in a hemi ... or put a supercharger on it .. i have a supercharger its not a hemi... but much better than stock.. but i would keep the 09 and mod away !
