as is, no, it isn't big lift friendly. it's hard to say what the max lift or ability to run big tires will be but, we aim to find out
unfortunately, unlike older JK's, this problem now effects manuals as well.

with just 2" of lift and stock shocks, you should be fine.

Adding a driveshaft to the list of things to buy for the 2012 JKUR. How long would the stock drive shaft last if it was a daily driver and saw 20% light off roading (Rausch Creek, PA) throughout the year?

Hopefully we will see some reviews as time passes and more people have modified and worked their '12 JKUs.

Its really going to depend on the lift size, and the shock length you have about 5" before it pinches when the exhaust is moved back.

Does the 2012 unlimited manuals have the clearance issues? I am about to buy a 3 to 4 lift and would like to know of any issues.

To name a couple Coast drive shafts or tom woods, 1310 series are two popular ones. My son's running with the coast DS his JK (2012) has a Teraflex 4"long arm and not experiencing any problems. Ive read a few post where some that don't use their JK off road, but still have it lifted are using the stock DS and doing fine and don't plan on changing until it fails.
