Default 2012 jk programmer??

I have a 2012 jk with 4" lift, 35" tires, 4.56 gears; the transmission in normal driving conditions, seems like it needs a transmission program upgrade. It seems like the shifts are so soft that it is almost out of sync, when slowing down and making turns, when you go to take back off it doesn't downshift properly and ends up being in a higher gear and bogging the engine down. I know that with a programmer it usually increased the line pressure & firmed up the shifts solving this problem. Any one else having this issue? Any programmers out there for the 3.6l performance? Any help would be appreciated--THANKS

The transmission is adaptive and changes depending on your driving habits. You or aftermarket tuners wont change it. Alot of poeple think theirs has a problem when it is really just the way the tranny works.

Bad2012,

The only tuner out for the 2012+ JK's right now that can adjust for shift points is the DiabloSport Intune. The Pro-Cal and Flash-Cal can only correct the speedometer for the larger tires.

The Intune will allow you to adjust shift points and stiffness to your liking. You can also use this to control the cooling fan, idle speed and so much more. The Intune has pre-loaded tunes for towing, power and fuel economy.

Hope this helps! Please feel free to get a hold of me if you have any questions.
