I have auto 2013 JKUR with 3.73 and 35s. I notice a slight difference from stock but still very drivable. when I eventually go to 37s I will go to 4.56 gears. It's a heavy pig with front and rear bumpers, oil, trans, transfer and gas tank skids, diff covers, rock rails, winch and fenders all steel.

I live in IL, If lived in PA or CO I would probably want those gears sooner.

I have a 13' automatic 3.5" lift 35's with 3.73s and with the lower first gear and 5th gear ratios in the new 5 speed I see no reason to regear it. I'm averaging 16-17 in the mountains and performance is way better than my 11' with 4:10's

I'm running 35s on mine with 3.6 VVT AUTO and 4" lift and wasn't as bad as I though. Biggest thing is it searches for 5th gear alot, so gotta use the manual shifter for that.

I was going to regear but decided to try it out first. Deffinately gearing higher for 37s In the future though.

From what I've heard about the 2012+ 3.6L and 5-speed A/T, 4.88's are the gear of choice if you're looking to run 37's. I run 5.13's in mine and honestly would probably have been better off with 5.38's, but I have the 3.8L and 4-speed A/T slush box.

I have 3:73

I have a 2012 with 35's and 3.73's and I really doubt if I'll change the gear ratio. it has plenty of power the only time i'd like lower gears is when i'm on the highway it would be nice to have just a little bit lower gear. But its not to the point that I'd re-gear for the little bit of highway driving I do.

I'm in your boat. I have the same setup and engine. I could use a small re-gear, maybe 4.56 but probably not worth spending the $.
