Default 2014 unlimited recommended lift?

Regretted getting rid of my 2010 but was really looking for the new power of the 3.8. Just picked up a 2014, automatic, with 3.73s. I dont want to touch the gearing as my old jeep with the auto and 3.6 was fine with 33's. I do no offroading. Just like looking good around town lol.

Whats the recommended lift/tire size for the newer models?

Was looking to go a little bigger than my last 1.5" lift/33 setup. Maybe 2.5 and 35's? 3.5 and 35s?? 37s??

remember i dont want to regear. Please feel free to post suggestions and pics please

Our 2013 has the 3.5" lift from AEV and 35s. It came with the 4.10 gears, but ha great streetability. I'm sure you could get away with the 2" lift for 300 bucks and run some 33's on the jeep

Went with teraflex 2.5 in lift with 35's. Great ride quality on street. Upgraded to bilstein shocks for smoother ride. 35's fit great without any rubbing. Just had to trim plastic air dam on front stayed away from any lifts over 2.5 so I wouldn't have to replace drive shafts. Another option if money is an issue is the teraflex budget boost. My buddy put it on his and I was impressed with the ride. I sold him my rubi shocks for $100 so I think he was into the whole lift for about $350. Good luck with your selection
