Default 265 vs 285 Is there much difference?

so i own pretty new (80% tread left) 265/75/16 nitto terras right now on my stock 16 steelies

I have a chance to get some used (55% tread left) 285/75/16 nitto terras for a good deal.

Should i do it? or just save my cash for new "real" 33's?

Is there enough difference between the two tires to even tell?

+1...the tires you put on will be almost exact....just 20mm wider (less than an inch) unless you love the look of the tire, or you are getting a CRAZY deal....just keep what you have....

If you can trade for something other than Nittos then you'll be doing some good.

The difference is 31.6 inches tall X 10.4 inches wide vs 32.8 inches tall X 11.2 inches wide. Is it enough to give you the look you want? Also if you really like the nitto's you have then you know how the tire is. I went to 35's with about the same jump in size and the look is all the difference in the world.
