285/70r17 Duratracs on stock Moabs--Is this article true or bs?
This article, http://www.jeepfan.com/projects/good...-installation/ , claims that 285/70r17 Goodyear Duratracs will fit on stock Moab wheels without rubbing (with no wheels spacers). The Rubi in the article has a Teraflex leveling kit, 285's, and stock Moabs. Everything I've read, except this article, says this combo would rub without wheels spacers. So anyone with this setup have personal experience with this setup? I'm just wondering if this article is legit or bs.

Thanks for the replies. I was 99.9% sure that was the case, but this article made me second guess it. I guess the ppl that wrote the article only drove it in a straight line. Lol

for those of you running this set up, are you able to get the spare on the tailgate without a spacer? did you have to do anything to make it fit?
I've added the spacer but it sticks out way too far for my liking, and with it being such a popular set up I haven't heard of anyone else having problems.. which makes me assume you're all able to mount it up just fine-??
ps. sorry for the slight hijack, but I too needed the spidertrax spacers to prevent rubbing
