Bilstein 5100's or Old Man Emu shocks both available from Northridge 4X4.

Check your load range on your tires (D rides better than E)

Adjust your tire pressures( try a chalk test )

Enjoy your Jeep

On your tires , it will tell you how much weight the tires can carry . It will also tell you the load range . You have already said they are load range c tires . Load range C tires are perfect for most Jeeps . What is the pressure you are running now ? You could just try lowering them down a little at a time , try the Jeep around the block and see how they do . I hate to tell someone what pressure to run , depending on the tire , they could unravel at speed with to low of a pressure .

Load range is basically how much load the tire can carry. A load range E tire is something you would find on a F250/350,Ram/Chevy/GMC 2500 and 3500. C or D rating is plenty for a Jeep unless you are doing some serious rock crawling.

A chalk test is for verifying your contact patch between your tread and the road surface. You would rub chalk all over your tread and move your vehicle. Check your marks on the ground and adjust accordingly.

I run 28 psi in my JK. I have some back problems so ride comfort to me is important. It's not my daily driver either so fuel mileage is of little concern to me. 28 Psi gives me nice even wear on these tires. Of course disclaimer ; Never under inflate your tires. Always follow your vehicle manufacturer and your tire manufacturer recommendations.

Under inflation creates excessive heat, tire failure, and poor gas mileage.

I had a 2 dr before, started with stock suspension and tires and it was a decent ride. Went to 35s with old man emu lift and it was stiff and a rough ride, not to mention death wobble issues. Sold it and went for a 4 dr that had a budget boost when I bought it. The ride was rough compared to stock but better than the 2 dr. Then I upgraded to a 3.5" aev lift with blistering reservoir shocks and couldn't be happier.

2 door rides rough. I bought ,I e brand new stock and it rode amazing. Put a 3" lift and 35s on it and it rode horrible. Try checkinguour air pressure In tires. I put on bilstein shocks and teraflex control arms and it handles pretty nice now.
