Way too much lift, I run 37"s on a 4" Superlift and wheel the crap out of it.

X2. I'm running the same setup. The 6" LA should be plenty for 38's, as long as they're not super wide. Then if you need it, add a 1" spacer or BL.

I don't agree with the to much lift part if he was a mud runner.

If your going for the look only have custom setup made and put 54" Boggers on it. Have not seen that.
Wouldn't mind see'ing that.
