Get the TF 2.5 w/out arms and see if you need them. You might be suprised how nice it rides. Look at everything including disconnects, brake lines, bump stops,etc...those things add up quickly

Ive had my TF 3" for months and it still rides great, I am just now adding front LCAs

I did do the RC myself in a normal garage with a floor jack and jack stands with just standardard hand tools. It took me about 7 hours. I checked the torque on every bolt and paint marked them. I even check the factory bolts and ajusted their torque. It might not take you as long as it did me but I was by myself and not in a big hurry.

I have the rc 3.5 on my 09 x with adjustable arms for all points and it works great on and especially offroad. With the quick disconnects stowed for the swaybar that thing handles the trails like it had lockers front and rear. Running toyo 35s and they work great as well, they make a little noise on the highway. Good luck on your decision.

Sounds good, I'm still not sure, have a while to think about it though. Also the RC kit comes with extended brackets for brake lines, and bump stops and all that. Don't need disconnects though got my rubicon e-disco

If you look on here you will find someone with an issue with any company. There is a thread outlining a Teraflex lift issue that has been going on for days. I would say do your own research. There is no need to pay more for something if it gets you to the same point as the other one. Sometimes what you get when "you get what you pay for" is just a name.

Yeah I plan on using a lift but also checking and rechecking everything like you did, not going to rush it, need to make sure everything is done correct. Did you happen to add an adjustable front track bar or just go with the pinion and bracket?

Glad to hear! If I do go with the 3.5" I will probably just use the arms it comes with for now but later on upgrade to all adjustable.

haha yeah too many choices. I was looking at the bighorns but now more interested in the duratracs, they seem to be pretty popular amongst the forum, and also good for winter, which I need.
