The water outlet on my 08 JK 3.8 is leaking, it is a plastic part, I could easily replace with another one but would prefer a metal replacement. A few days of online research and I couldn’t find one for the 3.8 specific. Anyone out there have a link to one or know of another compatible engine for this part?

 

I've never seen a metal replacement, and don't think it would provide any advantage over a new plastic. Not like it's the plastic causing your leak. I think I've addressed that leak on mine once in 200k miles...not bad.

 

it has a small crack on the back side, I think I'm just gonna go plastic again, made it to 180k. I found 1 company that makes them but they're billet, and about $100, a bit overkill for me.
