Chosing a lift has to be about budget and use of the Jeep. It is fine to get a lower cost lift and add components as you go. A lot of great companies are out there that make them. I chose Rusty's 3.25 and have added other parts from other companies.

Every Jeep I have built I did this way. You end up spending the same amount, but it's over time. WOL mentioned Full Tractions lift and that is a sick kit!
