Default 3" lift, 35" tires.... Wife wants steps

So I guess I have to loose the rails on my JKUR. I don't really rock craw, mostly trails and the beach. Are there some steps I should stay away from? Thanks

I like the ace rails...they actually work as a step. Plus, you don't have to remove the rubi rails

I can say from experience... getting steps for the Jeep is MUCH cheaper than getting a taller wife.

No way I'd get rid of rock rails for some tubes. I'd sell the wife on the fact that encase someone hits you from the side, you'll have boat loads of protection from the rails! Your guys's lives are priceless. What would she rather have, to try slightly harder to step up into a Jeep and have a living live husband and safe kids, or have a sidestep and a possibly injured/goner husband and kids. The rails and a living family no doubt!

Them Rubitubes there though look pretty nice! ^^

None the less, it's your Jeep. Do what makes you happy.

On my old 2dr I had a friend fab up some steps that were a copy of the Poison Spyder Rico steps. They worked great as a step and functional sliders.
On my 4dr with 4" lift and 37"s I'm running Rock-Slide Engineering sliders...pretty similar to Teraflex's sliders. These provide the same step qualities as the Rico style steps...and they do a much better job of keeping mud, rocks, etc. off of the side of the Jeep. The wife likes these better than the last ones.

My wife and I both love the N-Fabs.

Stay away from anything that starts with the letters s m i t t y

I have been rocking the ACE sliders along with the factory rock rails for a long time. Very well made and short wife approved
