Default 3 link vs 4 link?

I was wanting some input on which system is better for off road, highway or both. What are the advantages/disadvantages of 3 vs 4 link? Factory is 4 link so does that equate to better ride? Any advice would be great!

I run a Rock Krawler 3-link in the back and it works awesome lots of flex maybe the only drawn back is it's a little loose but I also don't run a sway bar which might help that.

I was asking because I was looking at the rock krawler and saw it was 3 link. I know that any lifted vehicle with have body roll but I didnt know if 3 vs 4 was tighter around corners, more or less articulation, on is stronger?

Are you refering to the long arm kits that replace only the lower links and leave the uppers stock?
