Thanks for all the photos also!

Judging from all the advice I think I will go with a 3" lift and 35" tires. The shop I will be using is offering a 3" kit by BDS. I will also ask them about the Teraflex kit that seems to be popular.

I will also install MXD6 adjustable shocks and flat fenders.

The tires I will be using are ProComp AT Extreme as they are supposed to give the capabilities of all terrain tires but also have a more aggressive look.

The only other real question that I have is should I go with 17" wheels or 20" wheels? Right now I am thinking 20" wheels but any advice will be helpful.

Thanks again!!!
Also, check out Bushwhacker Flat Fenders too...

The rim size is totally up to YOU. This is so subjective. I would rather go with 15 or 16in wheels because the tires are SO much cheaper. Price a set of 35" tires on 20" rims and see if that helps your decision.

I think the question you should be asking is do you go with 17" rims or smaller?

Both Jeeps pictured in this thread have 17" rims.

I use the 50% rule on wheels. The max wheel size should be no more that 50% of the total tire height. Again, its my oppinion, but i'd rather have sidewall than wheel. 20's look rediculous.

My suggestion would be to stay away from 18's, especially if you ever decide you might want steel rims. I have 18's, but that's what the Jeep came with when I bought it. They look good (minus the crappy chrome...don't buy chome!!) but there are way more rim selections with 17" rims. Why bother with 33" tires, you may as well stick with the stock Rubicon tires, go with the 35's and you won't be disappointed you did.

You need to check in the show and tell section and see what you like. If you like 33's they will be cheaper and you will get better gas mileage. But you may regret it later and want to go bigger. Just do some research and when you make up your mind of what you like go with it. You have so many options at this point.
