Default 33" Tires

I have a 07 JK X I want to put 33" 11.50's on it. I'm not sure what running gears I have in the rear end but it came stock with 225/75/r16's on it. With the 33's on there will I need to regear it

You can contact Jeep via their website and request your build sht. that will give you everything it came with stock.

I have an 07 automatic with 4.10's, and 33's. I think it is about perfect for my needs.

Unless you have the tow package it is prob a 3.21, if you do (look for a trailer hitch) you have 4.10's.

3.21's - If its an auto tranny... yes regear. If it is a manual it'll be sluggish in
6th gear, but you can live w/ it.

4.10's - It'll be fine either way.

I dont know what the factory stipulations where, but my 07 sahara automatic with No towing package has 4.10's.

I do not trust what the "brochure" says about anything. according to that i have a D44 rear and cargo tiedowns too, NEITHER of which do I have.

Only way i know how to tell (besides checking the build sheet) is to check it manually, like is mentioned in this thread Gears 4.88-5.13 difference i dont think these axles have the tags on them?

Your right about the auto... But I dont think 3.73 was an option in 07, just 4.10.
sorry 'bout that.

For 2007:

All Rubicons have 4.10
All X and Sahara autos have 4.10
X and Sahara 6 speeds have 3.21, unless with tow package then 4.10, or you could upgrade to 4.10 for a $50 option fee w/o the tow package.

For 2008/2009 everything is the same, except replace the 4.10 options on the X and Sahara with 3.73.
