It does look better. Especially on the unlimiteds. I run a 3.25" lift and it looks and drives great

I ran 35"s on my 2007 rubicon auto for 4 years with 3" lift. I never re-geared... always planned to but always found something else to spend my money on. It was a bit of a dog, but I didn't hate it. Definitely get the 35's and re-gear when you can, but don't feel like you have to right away.

I'm very satisfied with my 33's, Love the Goodyear DuraTrac's. I have 4.10 gears, but in Ct, with the hills... I'm glad I didn't go with 35s. It does look cool, but my 16mpg is leaving me satisfied with 33's. On the trail-ability front, I don't rock crawl, or anything "hard-core", or even close to considered advanced...However, I do have lots of fun will other off-road activities, steep rocky forest trails, and a little mud. Whatever I can find here in New England really! 33's kick ass so far for me. I think they look great with the 2.5" T.F. coil lift kit too.

I have a 4-door automatic with 3.73. I ended up going with 33s and I like them a lot...I think it fits the JK just fine. I bought the Superchips Flashpaq a few weeks after the 33s. I'm getting about 16.5 around town, and 18+ on highway trips. Performance was pretty bad before the Flashpaq...
