Default 33's or 35's?

I'm looking to put new tires on and I wasn't sure if I should stick with 33's (which are on now) or 35's. I have a 2.5" lift and wasn't sure how well 35's would clear. Any photos would help.

35's will clear with no problem on a 2.5" lift. I would got that route. I have the AEV 2.5" lift with 34's and they look to small for my liking, way to much fender gap. Just keep in min d you will need spacers if your running stock wheels.

Default year

what year jeep and what axle ratio?

the 2012 JK works great on 35s with a 4.11s and a stick or auto

the 2007-11, you may want to stick with 33s.

of course you can always re-gear.

the 2012 added about 85 HP

Here is my 07 jku I emailed and gt my build sheet and found out I have 4:10 gears I got 33"s at first then a 2.5" lift and they looked small. I had to get 35's and was rough tryig to sell 3 month old 33"s and remotely get what I paid for them out of them...I wheel a good bit ad I am happy with the performance of my 35"s and they fit the wheel well better. Heres pics with 2.5 lift and the two different sizes of tires

personally i think 33's look plenty large on a 2 door. but the longer unlimited 4 door looks out of proportion unless you go with 35's

285/75/17's which are about a 34". Perfect size for me.

Are you happy with 33s, or are you anxious to go bigger? I'd say stick with 33s if you're happy with them. I'd say 35s if you were considering upgrading to either 33s or 35s, because of the possibility you'd regret not going bigger.

Going to 35s brings on the potential of more issues and/or needed upgrades. They cost more in general. And they weigh more.

I like the way 34's look....all the 35's look great too. It's an 07 and would probably need regeared which I want to steer clear from doing.
