I'm one if the few that are very happy with my 33's and TeraFlex 2.5" BB (3.73 gears with an auto)!

Go 35's if you can afford them. 99% of people that can fit 35's but go with 33's regret it. I've got 35's on a 2.5" lift with stock wheels (spacers) and have had no issues - 20,000 miles so far with lots of trail runs.

If you have the 3.6L, IMO there is no need to re-gear. I have 3.73s and have plenty of low end, passing and merging power.

I just put on 35's last week. Was concerned by everyone saying loss of power but have no issues on a 2011. It's a jeep not a sports car.

Definitely recommend going bigger.

Go with the 35s the power loss in minimal...and if it bothers u that much you can regear later on. Buying 33s and saying you will upgrade later will be a regret.

I have 35's now I wish I had gone 37 or 38's. yeah I would have had to re gear but the ground clearance gains is worth the money. My next set of tires will be at least 37's.

Make sure your front axle at least has gussets, maybe a truss too, and upgrade the ball joints. You should stick with 37's instead of 38's just cuz if you don't have a spare and u get a flat, you can maybe use someone's 37'' spare to get u off the trail. 37's are more common than 38's

I have 2010 two door and I went with 35s . Everyone told me If I got 33s I'd want 35s and they were right, I only have a 2 1/2 " lift but if you are going to wheel a lot you will need flat fenders cause it will hit on the stock ones in the rear
