I don't really like electronic stability controll especially for modified vehicles. If you guys find a way to completly remove the ESP with out a light on all the time let me know. I find the input of a computer distracting.

will a jeep dealer wilingly flash the computer for different tire/gear sizes? if so thats pretty awesome!
I told my service manager I was going to bump up the tire size to what's on the Rubicon. He said he would adjust the computer to 32's, he also told me not to go over 32's or it will mess up the esp. I ordered 285/70/17 which are 32.7/11.5/17's so I'm cheating, a little.

My unlimited X 4x4 was doing this BEFORE the lift and tires. Dealer says that some 4x4 are included in the TSB, but not my VIN. He also says the software updates/corrections will only take the VIN's listed. However..... Tomorrow they are going to FLASH the computer... wich according to them, means reset the whole computer. They said there is a small chance that it might correct its self.
I am going to ask them to upgrade on the bigger tires while there. For now I have turned the ESP off, leaving the BAS light still on. I am still loving this jeep!

A couple were probably a little fast, but no faster than I took em before I put the 33's on. After it activated a couple of times, I slowed down but it still activated on a few curves when I didn't think I was going to fast at all.

The dealership found a faulty ABS wire harness, They replaced the harness & cleared code. the ESP light does not come on every time I turn corners normally anymore

I have essentially the same setup, 33's and no lift. My ESP goes apeshit when I take corners at more than say 30mph. Makes exiting the freeway a pain in the ass, because it seriously jerks the Jeep all over the place.

They will only flash for tire sizes that are stock. The biggest being 32".

I have a 3" lift and 35's. My ESP goes off on certain ramps also. Not going fast at all. I think it has more to do with how they are banked. It's like a tug of war, I'm putting on the gas, it's putting on the brakes. It feels like your brakes are down to bare metal.
