I went to a 37 ko2 from running primarily 35 km2's. Haven't looked back. Great damn tire. Stronger sidewalls, great tread life, and per specs is ~ 36-36.4" tire. I still run a set of km2's but the ko2's are on the jeep 80% of the time since this is also a daily driver. Lightest of the bunch compared to the other mfgs.....

You will need a hi lift or wood blocks at the very least as well, since most scissor jacks won't be enough to raise a 37.
Flares are flat, have front stubby bumper, I have an aftermarket bumper with tire swing and I have a hi low.

So when people talk about regearing is that due to the weight of the tire or the extra height. Right now with bfg old ko in 35 i am able to pull a trailer up my pass doing 75. I have the 3.6, 411 gears and some power mods. The KO2s 37s weigh 8 less then the 35nitto So when people talk about gears and axel mods is itndue to the height or the weight. If it's due to weight or increased revolutions or height or combo of factors. Thanks

Honestly you wont notice much of a difference between the two given the weight difference. The real difference comes in because of the change in operating RPM during cruising because of the larger circumference. You'll be fine with light small 37, as I have an 07 JKR 6 Spd on 37s that I pull a small Aliner trailer with and my 2 door is heavy. I have 4.88s now but with the extra power and better power band of the 3.6 you'll be fine, just expect to use the power in the higher RPMs when towing.

I am happy with my 35's but I wasn't ever considering a 37. If your split between the two, go big. Here's mine with 2.5 inch Rock Krawler and 315/75/16's.

A BFG 37 is really a 36, actually a metric tire marked in inches. You can safely run a BFG 37 in place of a true 35, performance-wise you'll not feel much of a difference.

Also, fwiw I just completed a run on the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands NP in my 2013 F150. Spotting a group of mountain bikers. Bone stock STX 5.0L 4x4, with the BFG KO2s. Crawled the trail like an ace. Impressive traction.

Well I ended up going with 35s. Came down to a budget issue and I would only need 4 being I have a ko that is in good shape still. I think I will regret not going with the 37s but I am more into long haul trail runs then rock climbing and I don't think the extra clearance will really mater for the type of wheeling that I do. So the common sense part of my brain ended up making the decision.

ya but hed be comparing the 37s to 35 bfgs that are 33-34s so hed have just as much seat of the pants difference if he was going from 35 mtrs to 37 mtrs.
