Default 35" with nearly no lift???

I'd like to get 35's under my Jeep with as little lift as possible because:

Low center of gravity=less chance of rollover/more stability
I've got short legs, so I'd rather not have to use a ladder to get into my daily driver
My family doesn't want to fight to climb in either
I like the look of the lower Jeep (not low-rider look, just not quite so tall)

I don't like Bushwackers - loved them on the computer screen but in person.... meh...

I've looked at poison spider flares - they are a strong maybe...

I'm really liking the Trailmods Removable Fenders.

So I'm adding a Teraflex Leveling kit and thinking about a 1.5inch bodylift. So assuming that I go with both I will have 3.5 inch in front (less for winch weight) and 2.5 inches in the rear.

If I get the Trailmods, can I get 35's under without rubbing on the street (and occasional curb or deep pothole)? Once I go offroad, I'll pull the fender flares and shouldn't have any problems with tire clearance, so really it's only on street that I have to worry about rubbing.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

2011 Sport Unlimited and no worries about rubbing on the airdam -It's way gone.

Well, l have 37" inch tires with no lift. You should be fine after trimming the pinch seams. You will need to add bump stops if you want to keep it that low and wheel on them.

I'm running 35's on a stock rubi. Just cut my fenders. Don't think you gonna fit 35's under a sport without a 2" lift of some sort.

I'm running the Rough Country 2.5" Spacer lift and have a winch and running 33s. My buddy has the same setup with 35s and has had no problems. Neither of us have done any other suspension mods but we just rock climb a few times a year.

But if they are removable flares, I shouldn't have to worry about that, right? The trail flares only stick out an inch and a half... Shouldn't get in the way???

I've got the same springs as most Rubicons... and the shocks don't add lift (right) so what's the difference? I have about the same height as most Rubicons, just crappy street tires...

That's a sick set up- think it's a bit more tire than I'm looking for but I love how the tire fits in the wells... How's it wheel?

Oh yes, the gears are stock. I have plans for gearing soon. I drive about 4 miles to work maybe 3.5. So it doesn't bother me now. But I will probably snap something on the trails and then start the real upgrading process. It honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. But, it woUld not recommend it for a true DD. It would get old fast.

Depends, you can probably stuff them into the top of the seam in the wheel wells. But, you never know till you try. Should be okay but highly recommend the bump stops.
