They are sister companies just use different molds for the tires. Toyos more expensive and come im some wider widths...other than that essentially the same tire. I went with the grapplers...you wont be disappointed.

I had the TOYO they do not wear well at all! Despite what everyone told me. I'd go with Goodyear mtr much superior tire have 33k miles and will prob het and easy 50k. No way would you het that with toyo. Just my 2 cents

Wow. I have had the exact opposite results with my Toyo's. They have been wearing like IRON, and it looks like I'll be getting plenty of mileage out of them.

Well worth the money. WOL also runs them on both of his JK's as well - which says something there too.

Ive had MTRKs and now TOYO MTs. Pros for the Toyos; Great looking, work great, stay round, wear well.

Cons: Heavy, and expensive

MTR: Pros: Light, look good, work well

Cons: Dont stay round, dont wear well

As mentioned, Toyo manufactures both tires. Both are excellent with almost identical performance.
