I agree.
I think if there is too much fender well showing it can create that illusion.

I had the 33" KM2 on stocks with spacers and went to 35 KM2's on new ATX wheels and mine measured out at 33.7" at 30psi. They are noticeably bigger than the 33's.
Here's a shot when my buddy and I put them on. 33 front 35 rear.

OME 2" HD Spring lift. With the bumpers it's sitting a little over 3".
I have a few more shots in my gallery.

Wow! One of the pics in your gallery looks like the tire is resting against
the back of your rubi rail and pinch seam. Or is that an optical illusion?

It's just how the photo was taken. But don't get me wrong it is close with the lift and the 35 but does not hit at all even when flexing. I just added lower front arms and rear upper and lower are on the list but for now it's working fine.

Here's a better shot of the space:

How do you like your KM2's? Street ride? Noise level?

They are a great tire. I had the 33's and sold them and bought the 35's. The wear is good, noise is very low on the street for an MT. Mud Clean out and traction on the rocks is great. Very tough side walls for sure.
