You should only need spacers if you want to use the stock wheels. Unless your Rockstars do not have the proper backspacing, you shouldn't need them. That might be why you rubbed.

Default will the spacers hurt anything?

I left the Spidertrax 1.5" spacers on when I installed the Rockstars, I just like the look better, so did my buddy who helped me put the tires on. Will leaving the spacers on give me any problems down the road? I am getting worried here....

If you talking about the actually bumper itself (i see you have stubbied it as well) thats awfully strange. Im sure your talking about the POS piece of plastic though. My 33's even rubbed on that thing so dont worry about it!
No..that POS came off a while ago, along with those darn orange stickers. I was talking about the plastic ends of the stock bumper, I cut about 6" off each end..which will suffice until the XHD stubby gets here, hopefully tomorrow!

I think an important question is still unanswered....

WHAT IS THE BACKSPACING ON THE ROCKSTARS?

I ran my Teraflex 2.5 BB with my BFG 35's and never rubbed anything other than the stock plastic air damn deal which I ripped off in place of a Skid Row skid plate. My wheel"s are 15" Pro Comp Rock crawler street locks with a 3.75" backspacing. Even at full flex with the sway bar off I get no fender rubs either. I also have the extended bump stops that come with the BB kit installed.

Default sounds like the spacers were the culprit

Sounds like the reason that it was rubbing was due to the wheel spacers that I left on, I just like the way they looked, anyone think I will have an issue using a wheel with 4.5" of backspacing and the 1.5" Spidertrax wheel spacers? She seems to be riding fine...except now I know what all you guys meant that 35" = REGEAR!! OD button is going to constantly be on it seems!

Yeah but you also have a robotic vacuum cleaner... Relevance? Well none, but you just needed the reminder.
