yes but what ever our mini van engines have in performance will take a hit on how it gives power on the road. if your going to do 35's it recommend to get 4.10 gearing with manuel, if auto i would recommend a little higher.

I'm doing it with the automatic trans. Adding the Superchips flashpaq helped a lot.

Absolutely not. You can't do it.

It's your jeep, do whatever you want. The better question would be, "how will it perform?". Or maybe, "will I still enjoy driving it?"

You will lose some power, and it won't be as fun to drive, but you can live with it until you get around to regearing.

Been trough this last week end and was debating between 33. And 35. I finally choose 35 and here's why
I have a manual trans ,
3.73 gear
My 35 tires only mesure 34.5(bf run small)

I was scared to loose all on road performance but seriously it is not so bad . Yes you feel you loose some power but not too much... And from what i read here, superchip will correct my speedo and add some power back.

Some guys will tell you no...but it all depends on where you drive. I have 35's with 3.73's and a superchip, and here in New Orleans where there's no hills it works fine.....yes I did notice a power drop but not enough to merit spending 1200 on gears....if you have mostly flat driving i'd say you will be ok for a while

if you want an in-expensive upgrade watch craigslist for some used 4.10s but 3.73s should do you fine for now.

Just upgraded mine to 5.38s wish I would have kept the old gears from the shop would have sent them to you for free.
