35's or 37's ?
2.5 TF coil lift , TF track bar , 8 clayton arms , and 1.25 RC body lift. 6 speed rubicon cut stock flares , pinch seam trimmed , stock rubi rails trimmed. I'm getting ready to ordered my tire and wheel package and I'm not sure to go with 35's or 37's. I do 85% on for and about 15% off road. With that being said these will be more for looks than real world off roading. I will do the C-gus at some point just not real soon. I'm not looking to rear gear at this point.
Will I have any issues with the 37's that I would of not hard if I went with 35's ? How are 37's with rubicon stock gearing. Build sheet show 4.10 gears. Is there a real big size differance in brands ? I have read alot and it seems they are all within about 3/4 or an inch. Any help here would be great , I know some have had issues and some have not. I did a search here and on other sites and really tired to read before putting this out.
thanks

35s are for pussies.... 37s are overplayed and 40s are becoming the new 37.
Why not go with some 42s... 44s... or even bigger?
Stay ahead of the curve... don't look like grandma with her newly minted tramp stamp, be different!

What year is your Jeep? 4.10s and 37's is a lot more liveable in a 2012+ because of the better engine. In the 2011 and older, it's drivable, but certainly not great. I did it for about 18 months with an auto trans and while yes, it worked, it sucked balls! Consider taking an already anemic motor and making it even less powerful. Acceleration was almost non-existent.
If you're looking for true 37's....BFGs are not the way to go because they measure closer to 35s. Nitto Trail Grapplers measure at about 36.85", which is about as close as you're going to find. They're not exactly light-weight, but they hold up pretty well on the trail. And decently quiet on-road, too. No complaints about them from me. I've put about 27k miles on mine, mostly on-road. Still got lots of tread left.

My buddy is doing 42s on his 2-door Rubi JK. Huge!!!
See... there is a MAN... not a little girl dripping red from her panties.
I'd step up and offer you my tires so I too could be a real man, but then you'd be left with tires that showed your true potential, none (remember, big rubber fixes that).
Hmm... I now feel inadequate. Geez... thanks.
