Default 35s or 37s

Ok this really sucks. I have my 5 35s sitting in my garage awaiting my 4" FT Ultimate (Ships tomorrow!!!) and ive been seeing pic after pic of 37s. Im starting to regret the 35s. So here is my question. What would you do in this situation? Return the 35s and order 37s ? Or stick with the 35s? Id rather do it once because who knows when I can blow that kind of money again...

35's bro, you have them there and are you planning on re-gearing for the 35's already? I hope so, if it's a Rubi then the 4:10's will help you for awhile till you get ready to regear, then you'll reclaim your torque, some mileage and primarily drivetrain longevity. 37's you'd "have" to regear for sure, depending on your lift (didn't look) you may not clear full flex.

I'm considering 37's but am regearing at the same time.

I have the 4" FT Ultimate which ships tomorrow. If I went with the 37s Id order a 1" BL for better flex. Im taking it to get 5.13s installed after I install the lift and tires. I just dont want to stare at my jeep and say "I wish I would have gotten 37s".

Ship'em back and get 37s. If you are already wishing you had 37s and the 35s aren't even on your Jeep yet, you're really going to wish you had them once the smaller tires are on.

Besides, it will delay the time that you get to put the wheels on by what... a week or two? I don't know how much you drive, but what ever tires you go with will be on there for several years, so I'd say just wait the extra time and go with the 37s. Once all is said and done, you'll be glad you did.

Ok so I have a question, back when I had 3 different TJ's and you went to a 4" lift kit we always considered the SYE and a good Tom Wood's or equivalent CV style long-travel rear driveshaft and never worried about the front.

What is with the JK's and having to replace the fronts? I realize the backs would be necessary for full flex with a 5.5" kit like I want, I realize I don't need an SYE on a Rubi transfer case...but I don't understand the need of the front replacement driveshaft. It's still longer than the rear and well ...I just don't understand.

The stock front drive shaft will rub on the skid plate at that angle.

well how does an aftermarket DS prevent it from rubbing? I could see having to mofify the skidplate or swapping to a different one but still don't see what changing to another DS will do.
