got a 3" lift 1" front spacer, run 37's at full flex all day long, If you are going to do it spend the money once not twice. Your next mod will be 5.13 gears and you will be running with the big boys.

I have news for you....if you will never have the money for tires again....you're in big trouble when EITHER 35's or (More expensive) 37's DO need replacement.

Food for thought.

I would go for the 35's. Find out how much the weight diff is between the two types and then figure how much more torque will be exerted on the suspension when the wheels are dangling in air. It may not be that much, but over the life of a rig it will cause more stress on wheel bearings and other parts. Hell, I had 33's on my TJ with a 5.5in. R.E. long arm and never ran into a situation where I wished I had bigger tires. But then to be fair, I never was into doing the mud bog thing. It really depends on what the overall type of Jeepin you want to do.

Well here is the thing about that and by what I meant. My 35" KM2s are on 16s and in the future if I were to stick with the 35s and wear them out to be replaced by 37s in the future, 37" KM2s do not fit on 16s. Smallest is a 17" wheel. I can afford replacing tires but dont know about wheels and tires again. Im waiting on a call back from 4wd about the posibility of returning the tires and wheels I have now. I appreciate the opinions and info . Ill update after I hear from them.

THIRTY SEVENS!!!!!

And realize you will have to spend more to upgrade other items as many have already stated.

And it will cost a lot.

You will love it.

5k!Ppy I had the same problem. I chose the 4" FT lift (ordered from Northridge4x4) with 35s in mind but then I started seeing all the 37s here on jk-forum AND then saw a Jeep JK 4 door with 37s ---- > thats all it took.

I am getting 37s, 35s would be great but like others have quoted "the JK is ment for 37s"

Well, besides the fact that there are other tire choices available, the KM2s will be available for 16s and 15s in about a year.

So after fully giving it thought and after multiple opinions and info, I've come to the decision to just stick with the 35s. I'd rather not put the stress of 37s on my axles. Plus 37s would take away the challenge on the trails . Ill still be regearing to 5.13s and I'm also considering swapping out my dana 30 front to a dana 44. My FT 4" shipped out today! Cant wait to get it installed! Thanks for all the info everyone.
