Default 35's and 37's

I need help deciding between 35's and 37's. Help me by answering a couple of questions.

Question's:

1.What gas mileage should I expect with 37's?
2.Will 5.13 gears be optimal with automatic; in other words will the 37's make my Jeep sluggish even with 5.13's?

Thanks all for your help in my tire decision.

Is there anyone out there running a Thrush exhaust? If so, what are the pros and cons? How's the sound?

What does this have to do with the OP's question?

If you are even thinking you want 37's get them NOW, because once you have 35's you will sooner then later wish you went with 37's

and forget about this talk of mpg, its a jeep its never going to get good mpg and lifting it isnt going to help and if you think its going to cost to much to run/fill up after lift then you should reconsider IMO

I agree with everyone else. If gas mileage is seriously an issue for you, get 33' tires and skip the lift. Other wise get 37''s, jack it up as high as your budget will allow, get 5.13 gears, and give yourself a new CAI and possibly upgrade your Exhaust system.

Gas mileage before changing gears should be close to 13-16... after gears it should be 16-19. That's been my experience and I drive pretty slow.

Gas mileage will also depend on the tires and wheels you run. I get almost 18-19 mpg HWY with my 8ply BFGs and chrome wheels. With my 10 ply Hankooks and steel wheels I get about 16-17mpg HWY. Each wheel/tire combo weighs agout 30lbs more EACH.

I love my 37s and 5.13s. There really isnt that much power difference untill you hit a good hill.

37's and 5:38's for me. Tried 4:88's wasn't low enough so I went right to 5:38's and couldn't be happier.
