35's or 37's for a DD
This has probably been answered before, but ill still ask. I just bought a 2008 Rubicon 6 speed 2 door, and want to lift it in the near future. Its my DD and I will only hitting the trails every couple weekends. Would it be better to stick with a 2.5" lift with 35's? or do a 3.5" lift with 37's. I want to put on flat fenders as well. I absolutely love the look of 37's on a 2 door but not sure if it's impractical for a DD. Will I need new front and rear driveshafts? Will my gas milage take a huge jump from 35's - 37's? are 4.10 gears good enough? So many questions! Thanks in advance
I have a 3.5" lift and 37s on my dd but I'm always at work so it's just parked there. So that's a whole different story. It's always up to what you want to do with it and is it what you really want. With a two door for sure you have to change out your drive shafts. I heard the old 3.8 and 4:10s is ok but you won't ever use 6th gear.

37s here 4dr but daily driven 70 miles round trip 5-6 days a week...
Tires wear pretty good on jeeps, I have a Detroit locker in rear as lo g as I'm mind full its there I ease corners a bit to save inside wheel spin...now if I actually gave a crud I'd do that but spin it baby spin it....lol (don't have a hemi swap so I pretend they spin from shear power
