What do you use to fill the gaps, once you've

I'm in the process of installing 35",(34.7") tires
on my JKU that has a 1.75" BB from Daystar.
No. You can trim all the way up to the spot welds and not have separation.

For most of the perimeter of the pinch seam, there is no gap.

The rear edge doesn't matter if you open a gap. It is just metal and will drain.

The amount of trimming needed in the front to run 35s isn't deep enough to leave a gap.

Just sand a little where you cut. Then, hit it with anti-rust primer and/or paint.

Remove the plastic stock inner fender liner. Sand it, and spray bedliner on the inner fender well.

Some suspension lifts are taller than what they advertise. Example, Teraflex 2.5" boasts 3.1" of lift. Spacers are usually accurate. Due to spring rate. I added 4 dr springs 18/59 and gained around 1.5" in front and about 1" in the rear and added TF leveling kit. I will add 35's later but also in addition to extended brake lines, bumpstops, trimmed flares, pinch seam and/or whatever Planman might suggest please. I'm running 32's until they wear down. I think my ass sits a little low and hoping front bumper and winch might fix...suggestions?

I just don't get the trimmed fender thing. Seen tons of lifted jeeps with 35-37 inch tires running stock fenders. Teraflex says their bb runs 35' but my jeep with a 1.25 body lift and leveling has essentially the same fender to tire clearance...

If a jeep is never taken off road, the issues are different.

I'm talking about what you need for your suspension to fully articulate/flex out and completely compress the stock yellow bumpstops into the metal cups.

For example, here is my 2dr Rubi, back when it had 37s on 2.5" Teraflex coil spacer lift, 2.5" rear and 0" front extended bumpstops, flat flares, 1" body lift, and only the front pinch seam of the rear fender well was modified (folded over instead of trimmed).

It's to avoid tearing the fender off when you stuff the tire. Hell, I almost pull it off with 31's, can you imagine how it would react with another 2" of tire coming up into it?

It is also like manscaping- it makes things look larger than they appear.

I personally just don't like the look of the big stock fenders, and $600 for bushwackers is just obsurd

Man, I hope my jeep grows up to be just like yours.
