Default 37" KM2s and 2DR

Have heard that KM2s can vary widely in their height (35s that are really 33s, 37s that are 35.5s). For those of you running KM2 37s on a 2DR, could you please post your measured height with tires installed. Bonus points for taking a guess at how much extra weight has been added since stock due to bumpers, armor, winch, etc. Thanks.

I'm in the same throes as others trying to determine my next tire (I'm currently running Dick Cepek 35" Mud Countrys, which I love, but they don't make a 37). So I'm looking at KM2s, MTRs, Toyos, Pit Bulls, and Terra Grapplers. Being able to balance the tire is a big, big, big plus for me. Then there's weight, then ruggedness, then cost, etc. . . .

Decisions, decisions.

Yes km2's run small. Out of what you listed I vote pitbull. I currently run trail grapplers but will probably go with rocker radials next time around...

33 km2 is actually 32.8 inches tall
35 km2 is actually 34.8 inches tall
37 km2 is actually 36.8 inches tall

So its really not that big of a diffrence but they DO run smaller

My Rubi tires are supposed to be 32.1" according to the BFG site, on the Jeep and inflated to 37psi they run 31" tall. I think thats why the OP asked about actual ride hight of KM2s. I personally would like to know also as I will be upgrading in the near future.

From what one read and seen KM2's run small across the board in every size. So much so that people joke about the 37's being 35's.

It all depends on the weight of the vehicle and what PSI you're running.

A tire with 2000 lbs on it at 30 PSI will measure smaller than a tire with 1500 lbs on it at 35 psi.

Any lower and the TPS light comes on, rides fine on paved road. Heck they had 43 pounds from the dealer. Anyways 37 is what Jeep says they should be run at and it works for me.
