I just noticed that you are runnning the Toyos. There is another recent thread concerning them. I beleive that you are running E-rated rubber, so most of the harshness is sidewall stiffness. I bet 30 will still be too much, 26 will probably be your target number. Good Luck

If I recall correctly, the TPMS alarm is set to 28 psi from the factory.

With the AEV Procal one can set the alarm threshold to whatever you want. It is recommended that it alarms at 4 psi under what you normally run the tire at.

I run my 37" GY MT/R- Kevlar's at 30 psi with the TPMS alarm set to 25 psi.

Thanks. I forgot about the AEV Procal. I should have one soon.

On my stock Rubicon, the low tire pressure goes off around 36psi.

I have 37x12.5x17 ProComp XTreme MT's on my 2-door. I did the chalk test and 22psi gave me the best pattern but I run ~26psi to try to get a little more MPG. I have the stock wheels which would make a difference. a 9" wide wheel should be able to run more pressure and maintain a nice flat footprint. If I'm heading into the woods to play I go down to ~15psi and they still drive fine on the road wherever I'm heading.

I have found 28-32 is good on highway depending on your comfort level and also your suspension plays a part as well.
