Eh, no need to regear, but you could probably add a supercharger to get back some power and maybe an Atlas 4 to gain some bottom end back on the trail.

Doh! Nevermind...

i have 37's and 4.10, i will definitly upgrade. IMO it sucks, engine bogs too much in mud or heavy load when u need it. i woulkd suggest if u stay wth 4.10, to do engine upgrades top beef up power. and on highway u have to use high rpm to maintain speed, but for some reason mine likes about 65-68 on interstate and does descent but the engine wont stay steady, it wants to keep moving up and down which kills your milage, but hey i didnt get a jeep for gas milage

It depends on the type of driving you will be doing. Around town is no problem. Highways or mountains, it sucks. I have taken it on a couple of highway trips and it CAN maintain speed, it just has to work hard to do it. I have the automatic, just for reference.

I don't think you will be able to take 37's with 4:10 gearing. 35's would be possible if you are used to being under powered but I think that would be the limit for most of us.

I agree it is a pain but it is livable. Believe me i will regear as soon as i can. Never said it was the optimum setup but not terrible. Surley the gears will help alot.

Like others with experience have said, I had 37's and 4.10's and mine was a slug. I've always felt if you can't afford to regear then stick with stock tires.

37's are going to be horrible with 4.10's.

I guess if you live where its flat it would'nt be a problem..
