How many other new "car" forums do you think include talk of cutting into them with sawz alls, cutting wheels, etc? lol
And I've got a cutting wheel, and if I have to do that when I throw 37's lift etc, it'll be the tool I use. I personally find it easier to use than a sawz all, plus you can grind the edges down smooth if need be, and you can't really do that with a sawz all and if you can, well then you're way more skilled with one than I am. Course that wouldn't be hard, I'd bet there are a few chimps out there who can use them better than I can.

The Rubicon Rock sliders. For some reason the rear end of the bars protrude about 2 inches longer than they should. Most people pull the plastic cap off the end, cut the bar using a chop saw ( or try to cut it on the Jeep with a sawzall or cutoff wheel ) and reinstall the cap into the end. Removing the bar ( after marking it, or measuring where to cut ) and cutting it with a chop saw will be more precise and make a nicer looking cut but you add the labor or removal and installation of the rail.
