I modified my original carrier using a jig saw, hack saw, and black paint. I did not want to re-route the wires to the swing away tire carrier for a light. There is already not enough room to see out the back window with a 35" tire, much less with the light sticking up above it. It works well and the price was right. What do you think?

 

Well I was hoping to keep the tailgate clean, but cutting up the factory carrier looks like the cheapest option. If I had to pay for one I'd probably get the one that mounts on the carrier. Thanks for the pics everyone!
