205 hp and 240 ft*lbs vs. 260 hp and 265 ft*lbs
would it be better? probably
would it silence the masses who are dissatisfied with the 3.8? NO WAY

It will make a noticable difference when towing and how hard it has to work going up a hill with a load. If it doesn't have to work so hard it won't use as much fuel.

Well, in America, bigger is better, and faster is better. So yes, the more powerful engine might be a good idea.

For all those negative JK haters---there are plenty of unsold TJ's with their favorite engine still available.
