Default 4.10 or 4.56 on a 2012 JK

2012 JK Automatic, 3" lift and 35" Nitto Trail grapplers. Anyone out there have a 2012 with a 4.56 gear in it? Just curious on the daily driveability RPM's at 65 etc. THANKS

I put 4.56 gears in my 2012 JKU auto and I am running 35's on a 3.5" AEV lift. Perfect setup I love it...plenty of torque and power and I run about 2700rpm at 70 mph, plus I am getting 17 mpg around town.

Im running the nitto 35's on my 12 rubi with stock 4:10's and i noticed a huge loss in mpg's and 6th gear is only good on flat roads now. I would def. go with 4.56 or even lower. Just my 2 cents.

4.56 would be perfect. I have 4.88 with 37's that measure out @ 35.5 and I wish I had went 4.56. Rpm's @ 70 are about 2800.

Do you have a 2012 cause I wanted to run 37s too and was gonna go with 4.88 but now I'm really thinking 4.56.

I'm running the aev 3.5 lift and 35' s also and am only getting 14.8 mpg around town with 3.73's. I'm going to go with 4.56's in hopes that I will get better gas mileage

Hmmm. I'm running 315 duratracs and getting about 2400 rpms. That's at 75 mph. I reprogrammed with the aev . I know the tires run a little short of 35's. However I'm happy with the setup.

did the AEV repro have any effect on your mileage or drivability ?
i guess im wondering if you did just the tires and ran it without the reprogram to see the contrast.

thanks

I do have a 12 with an automatic. 4:56 would be a real good gear IMO.
