I am also around 17mpg on an automatic 4 door with 5.13 gears. I'm running a 3 inch lift and 35in Goodyear MTR's.

I have a Rubicon so I went with 5.38's. I couldn't be happier. I can't imagine living with anything else.

keep in mind that mpg also depends on your driving habits, conditions, hwy/interstate vs city, etc...

I had 4.10 when I first had lift and 37's installed, switched to 5.13 and my mpg stayed about the same. I have not seen over average 16-17 mpg with 5.13 on a 4 door Sahara on the good days, then the rest is more like 14-15mpg

You are right. I drive 75% freeway and 25% city. I an hoping to get back to my original 17mpg with 3:73 and stock 32's.
