Default 4.88 vs 5.13

OME Lift with 35's and I am planning to regear sometime this week, I lost quite a bit of power and I tow my trailer spring summer and fall 3240LBS. What do you guys recommend ? I have 6spd and 4.10's now.

I RECOMEND 5.13'S IN THERE

YOU'LL RUN A LITTLE HIGHER BUT THAT EXTRA TORQUE YOU'LL GET WILL BE WORTH IT FOR HILLS OR JUST TO ACCELERATE ON THE HWY

BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION AND WHAT DO I KNOW

I just don't want to be driving at 60MPH and be over 2500RPM...

Man, yet another gear thread.........lol

With 35's, most say to go with 5.13 if you have an auto, and 4.88's if you have a stick.........but since you mention pulling a 3240 lbs trailer, I'd definitly say 5.13's for you!

I have an auto, 5.13's, 35's and still wish I had more when I pull my 3500 lbs inboard ski boat

From what I've been reading in this group:

5.13's for the automatic
4.88's for the 6 speed

when running 35's that is.

I have read the same, I am just wondering about the towing if it would be better to go 5.13's seems KTNR has seen this question answered several times...
