Post 4 inch lift kit

This is my first post on the forum even though the last couple weeks I've been sick with the jeep bug

I came across this 4 inch superlift lift kit pretty cheap and was wondering if there is anything else i would need to go with it or if i should just go with a smaller lift? This is the full kit:

Front Springs
Rear Springs
Front Superlift Superide Shocks
Rear Superlift Superide Shocks
Adjustable Front Track Bar
Rear Track Bar Bracket
Front Cam Bolts
Front Brake Hose Brackets
Rear Brake Hose Brackets
Extended Front Bump Stops
Extended Rear Bump Stops
Front Bump Stop Spacers
Rear Bump Stop Spacers
Anti-Sway Bar Links

I have it, get it with the bilstein shocks from Northridge, don't use the cambolts until you can afford new adj frt lowers. Also , although I had several thousand miles on the rear trk bar bracket with no probs, get an adj rear track bar asap. I got about 5in of lift outta this kit .

I don't have alot of experience with SuperLift, I would avise to stay away from the cam bolts though.

Whats up with the cam bolts? Does this issue only apply to this lift or all?

All, cambolts require you to notch out your control arm brackets and make it a slot for good castor. Not a good thing, slotting your brackets. They are more apt to slide and loosen. Plus you don't have the ability to really dial in your castor, only what the cambolts give you.

Cam bolts suck cawk. They like to wiggle loose and do other fun stuff. If some vendor tries to tell you how they work better that in 1984 and that the truck that pulls the spaceship to the launchpad uses them, I would buy from someone else. Why intoduce such a point of failure. I would drive with not enough caster before I used a cam bolt. The cam bolt may not even move enough to correct your caster, especialy at 4" of lift... I don't see how it could help anything over a couple inches? Do yourself a favor and get the adj. control arms.

Im looking at the 3.5 RE lift and noticed that it comes with cam bolts but im also planning on getting adj CAs. If i get the CAs then i dont need the cam bolts correct?

Sorry if i semi hi-jacked the thread (seems to be within the topic)
