somes will say that stock axles are fine with 35 or 37 but the driver and purpose might be a limiting factor.
That's not a true statement. The Rubicon axle is larger spline and has a larger ring and pinion. Now as far as the housing goes you'd be correct

I didn't say it is not larger, I just said it is not stronger.

The weakness of a stock JK axle is not the ring and pinion size or the spline count...

Well this is where we will differ and I'm sure a lot of others will too. The Dana 44 Rubi internals are way stronger than the 30's or there would be zero market for the pro rock 44, tera 44 or core 44. Everyone would just sleeve /truss and gusset the 30 and call it done. As I said both suffer the weakness of thin walls and to tall and thin c's but that is where it stops
