4" Rough Country Write-Up
Has anyone done or seen a write-up for installing Rough Country's 4" lift for the JK? I am looking at doing this project by myself and was looking for a good write-up to follow. My lift came with instructions, but I'm sure someone has tips and tricks on how to do some things maybe a little easier. I do not have any lift experience, but I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to learn a little bit about my Jeep. Also, I ordered a set of adjustable front lower control arms, so I would like to know how to set my caster and all that too. Thanks for the help.

Sounds good. What tires are you running? I am planning on running 35x12.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 17" Mickey Thompson Classic Locks in black. Also, is there still quite a bit of room for flex?
The directions are pretty straight forward. Just make sure you have a pitman arm puller. I forgot to get one before getting started. I just put mine on my Rubicon two weeks ago. I have put two other RC lifts on before. Just remember to loosen cross member so front axle has enough room to fall. If you don't the drive shaft will hit and you will bust a nut trying to force the springs into place.

P.S Flex is great, on 37s ground to bottom of tire 40" with full disco and 3 tires touching.

Lancejk, did you have trouble with your ESP afterward? I didn't until I pit my 35,s on. Now when I take sharp turns, it activates and brings me to a stop. I had it re-aligned and everything. I have tried centering my steering wheel several times and it still goes off.
X2 when I did mine the pitman ATM was the worst part as like bcoop, I chose not to get the puller first. Now I own one though. Take your time doing it and have fun, post some pics after.
