Narrowed it down to either the full TF 4" with FlexArms & 5100s or the 4.5" AEV Dualsport RS with bilstein 5160s. Love the new control arms with the TF kit but the AEV has brackets, steering stabilizer and a Procal. For me in Cananda the TF kit runs about 2600$ and the AEV roughly 2400$. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not a fan of drop brackets on JK for a short arm kit. I was in Moab last week and wheeled with a JK that had those combined with TeraFlex control arms. The brackets were beaten up pretty badly.

AEV is way over priced for what you really get.... no-brainer really...

Gonna put a vote in for Teraflex.

I'm in the <3" crowd running a combination of OME, Teraflex and AEV parts. Jeep rides like a dream. I'm not gonna knock either.

I'm voting Teraflex on this because if and when I join the 3+" crowd, it will consist of mostly Teraflex parts. Going that tall I want replacement parts and I want some of the strongest out there. That would be Teraflex.

Just did the same thing you did and was dumbfounded on which one to go with. I went with the AEV for the better reviews that I saw on streetability/driveability; I guess we'll see in a couple weeks after the 4.5" lift arrives. I'm sure I'll probably get slammed for that comment though. Oh well, it's a forum.

If the AEV impresses you go look at the rancho kit that costs 1/4 the price for a better kit. If those are the only 2 kits that you think are worth looking at you need to do more research.

Alright. I'll bite, the Rancho 4" Crawler on Quadratec runs 1900$ without shocks. Looks like a pretty substantial kit, lets replace AEV in this decision with that Rancho kit. Rancho quality vs Teraflex? Both kits seem to include all the same parts.

TeraFlex kits uses adjustable control arms in our kits. Plus the TeraFlex 4" kits include a HD Adjustable front trackbar and front/rear brakelines. No drop pitmans are used in TeraFlex kits either, why put all that extra stress on your sector shaft?
