Do your short arm kits handle the road and highway as well as the drop brackets in the 3-4" range?

I would say my TF 4in shortarm runs pretty well on the street, it's my DD and I've driven back and forth to Moab on it with 37's. Handles well even with 40's.
37's...

If you look at the content and price carefully, AEV is not over priced for what's in it. Its a question whether what AEV offers is what you want for a 4" lift. At 4" I think the 8-arm TF kit offers more of the right stuff for a similar price. It is more adjustable and the TF front lower control arms are stronger than AEV brackets. You give up 5160 shocks to make the TF kit price competitive, however.

Ask yourself if you really need 4" though, because another $1000 for new drive shafts will be in your near future.

Love my 4" Teraflex with 8 flex arms. Drives wonderful on the street and flexes all over off road.

Here's my Jeep with 33" Nittos.

Cheers! ~ Paul.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I guess if I had to choose one of those I'd go AEV as it seems more of a system. The attraction of the TF kit is the arms. I have them and am not happy with them as the flex joints went south way too soon. The Clevite style bushings seem to be holding up well.

We're it my money I'd spend a bit extra and go with Metal Cloak. The first Jeep I drove in with one of their kits was a revelation; as in WOW! I thought the AEV kit rode good but this was something else. The MC was the best riding Jeep I've ever been in and they seem to flex well too.
