I have always liked the 2 door better as well. My last JK was a two door but my most recent is a JKU even though I still wanted the 2 door. I will be having kids soon though and need the extra doors and extra room. I didnt think I would like the JKU as much as I do, but I would always love to get back to a 2 door!

Got rid of my 4 door '07 and now own a '12 two door. The room is nice on the Four door, but the two door feels more like a jeep. I don't need the room and my plan is to eventually make it my weekend ride anyway..

Wished forums had the ability to "like" each others posts sometimes, great finally reading all the positive things that a 2dr offers, and why I purchased my 2dr over a 4dr. It's not my DD anymore, so if there's a second vehicle in the household all the more reason to go authentic 7slot, all American, 2dr.

Thanks everyone for your replies. It was very helpful. I have decided to stick with my 4dr. Not sure I could go without the extra room and longer wheel base.

I went from an '08 4-door to a '12 2-door once the kid was old enough to crawl into his car seat. This is my second 2-door and glad I went back. Yeah space is limited but we are like you and have a '12 grand Cherokee that has more than enough space for whatever. I love 4-doors that have are lifted but I'm still partial to the 2-doors.

Went from 4dr to 2dr and have likes and dislikes with both....
I have 2 kids 5/14 and the older one doesn't like wheeling nor does the wife so aside of camping its just me and the 5yr old....
I love the 4dr for camping and every day running and kids was a perfect vehicle...

I'm stretching my 2dr 8" and has 4" lift LOVE my roll over hated it on the 4dr...

4dr needs 40s and a 2dr 37s to be rock ready....with the stretch I'll probably go up to 40s...

My main complaint was dragging my belly over everything, with its weight it needs d60s for 40s and I got into some crevass that it was a bit too big...got through but was on corner panels and door sides.....

Miss my 2door. Love the 4 door for camping with friends and family, but the 2door was smaller and just more what I liked personally
