Mine with a rear ARB install was supposed to be just under $900. A little high, but is was a great shop who specializes in Jeeps so I it was worth it to me. $175/axle isn't cheap... it is a STEAL!

X2. I just paid a little over 900 for front and rear... Found a good write up that explains why it is so labor intensive and worth 900 bucks.
I will try to find the link and post it for your info.

There have been a few threads on this subject. It seems most "big name" shops charge 1200 to 1700 for the total job. This means you drop the Jeep off and pay the price and you pick the Jeep up with the job done including ALL parts and labor.

Some people have had friends install the gears for free and I've heard some people that payed $2000 for the entire job. So anywhere in between is possible.

Yea, that's less than I would tip. For that much, I could fly your guy out here, get the gears installed, take him fishing and send him back.
