That's pretty good. Here in L.A., Off-Road Evolution has a deal to do both axles for $1200, gears included.

That's why I just down shift if I need lower gearing....saves a fortune.

that about average 12-1400, the 250 per axle + parts, still a great deal if you have someone in your local area that can do it, but sometimes you get what you pay for. not saying the guy that cheaper is doing bad job, just talk to his customers and see how they feel..and applies for other guy, shop around.

my dealer qouted me $1200 to $1400 with gears, detroit locker in rear and installation. i didn t think that was bad.

Didn't they have a deal at one point for $999....
The $1200 is probably with install kits as well, which is an awesome deal...

My gears were in the first batch of gears that were shipped, they didn't have the install kits then, I had get the pinion seals from the dealer and reused the bearings.

After 20K miles, and still going strong, with no problems

The guy that did mine is very well respected in the local offroad community.... And 20K miles later and no problems what so ever. I have pulled the covers off twice since then and the wear patterns are perfect.

I'm in Southeast La. and the price for install for both is $1100.. I'm still looking for a better deal before I proceed
